General Studies
Objectives
To offer a diverse range of learning experiences that enhance students’ understanding of
themselves, society, the nation, and the global community.
To inspire students’ interest in learning and empower them to effectively develop and
apply generic skills to explore issues and events related to science, technology, and
society.
To nurture positive values and proactive attitudes in students, fostering their healthy
personal and social development.
Educational Highlights
Project-based learning is conducted once every academic year across Primary 3 and Primary 6 as a progressive assessment, aimed at comprehensively training and enhancing students’ generic skills.
Practical assessments are introduced in Primary 3 to enable students to practice self-care skills, helping them meet the demands of daily life.
Maintaining strong ties with secondary schools, we participate in the “Little Scientists” program to provide students with valuable learning experiences, allowing them to discover the joy of scientific inquiry and guiding them to understand the connection between science and real-life scenarios.
A diversified teaching model: incorporating field trips, designing and conducting
experiments, observation and inquiry, as well as group discussions and debates.
Our school-based “General Studies Journal” is custom-designed by teachers to strengthen the development of students’ critical thinking and creative mindsets.
