Objectives

  • To enable students to acquire foundational music knowledge through activities such as music appreciation, project-based composition, singing, and instrumental performance.

  • To broaden students' horizons in musical perception, unleashing their creative and musical potential.

  • To cultivate students' appreciation for the arts, allowing them to express emotions and enrich their minds through music, while developing the virtue of social cooperation.

Teaching Features

  • The school provides various performance platforms for students to showcase their talents, such as the Morning Assembly Stage, Christmas Caroling, Tsung Tsin Concert, Voice of Tsung Tsin Singing Competition, and community performances. By participating in these performances, students can build their self-confidence.

  • Students are trained to participate in external music competitions, such as the Schools Music Festival and inter-school music competitions, to help them build confidence, unleash their musical potential, and broaden their musical horizons.

  • Promoting learning through diversified formative assessments: Flexible assessment modes are applied based on the key learning points of each instructional unit. The assessments cover individual performance, listening, collaborative performance, composition, and music theory, providing comprehensive feedback on students' knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes.

  • Utilizing tablets for electronic instrument learning and digital music composition.

  • Organizing harp and ukulele classes to enrich students' minds and unleash their musical potential through instrumental learning.

  • Establishing a choir during co-curricular activities to spread the spirit of loving God and neighbor through hymn singing.
