Computer Studies

Objectives

  • To equip students with the ability to effectively process information using IT in an era of information explosion.

  • To enable students to actively seek relevant information through the use of IT to solve various problems in their studies and daily lives.

Teaching Features

  • Modular Teaching: All grades from P1 to P6 are taught in modules.

  • Keeping Up with Technology: New modules are added annually based on the latest technological trends (e.g., Artificial Intelligence) to ensure students master up-to-date computer skills.

Curriculum Summary

Junior Grades (P1-P2)

Learn iPad and computer operations, inspiring computational thinking with ScratchJr. Through experiential activities like real-life examples and fun creations, students will begin to perceive and understand the uses of AI, building a digital foundation.

Middle Grades (P3-P4)

Learn the Windows system and Chinese typing. Explore the basic logic of AI and its relationship with data. Students will also learn to identify online traps and master computer and cloud operations.

Senior Grades (P5-P6)

Experience various AI platforms. Learn generative AI applications with a focus on discerning information authenticity and reflecting on AI ethics to enhance overall AI literacy.
