Pilgrimage to St. Andrew's Church
On 22nd April (Wednesday), our Primary 4 and Primary 5 students embarked on a meaningful pilgrimage to St. Andrew's Church.
During the visit, students were introduced to the church’s spiritual art and unique architectural features, sharing stories of the life and unwavering faith of the patron, St. Andrew. While admiring the sacred icons and sculptures inside the church, students spent a special moment praying in front of the bronze sculpture, "Be Welcoming."
Installed during the Jubilee Year as part of the famous "Homeless Jesus" series, this sculpture serves as a powerful portrayal of Christ’s identification with the vulnerable and marginalized. The experience allowed students to put their faith into practice and deepen their spiritual journey. Through reflection and prayer, they learned the importance of gratitude and compassion, striving to become "Messengers of Hope" who carry forward the spirit of love to others.
