24-25非華語家長支援子女學中文工作坊

要支援非華語家庭，隨了要協助學生適應校園生活、營造良好愉快的學習環境外，也要與家長們了解子女的需要。工作坊的過程中，家長們除了在教育心理學家深入淺出的分享下，對中文字詞的結構有初步的認識，更了解到平日孩子學中文時的歷程。另外，學校社工介紹社區資源，亦讓家長們分享生活實務智慧，加強彼此溝通和聯繫。

24-25 Workshop for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) parents to support their children in learning Chinese

 

To support non-Chinese-speaking families, in addition to helping students adapt to campus life and creating a pleasant learning environment, it is also essential to understand the needs of the parents regarding their children. During the workshop, parents gained a basic understanding of the structure of Chinese characters through insightful sharing from educational psychologist, as well as insights into their children's learning process in Chinese. Additionally, the school social worker introduced community resources, allowing parents to share practical wisdom from their daily lives and enhancing communication and connection among themselves.
